I still remember our first batch. A dozen or so students, a borrowed projector and a room in Islamabad that got too warm by the afternoon. One of them was a young woman from Peshawar who had taught herself Excel from YouTube because nobody in her family had ever used a computer for work. She's working in BI now. That's the whole reason I do this.

When we started Code School of Analytics I made myself one promise. Nobody should have to choose between a good education and a fee their family can manage. Banks, hospitals, e-commerce companies and government departments across Pakistan are being reshaped by data, and the people who can turn a messy export into a decision are the ones who'll be in the room when those decisions get made. I want our students in that room.

So we teach the way I wish I'd been taught. Real data sets from the first Saturday. Mentors who spend the week building dashboards and warehouses for actual clients and come in at the weekend to show you what broke. A free playground so a student in Quetta or Rawalpindi can practise SQL at midnight without paying anyone. A certificate an employer can check on our website in ten seconds. And a portfolio, because I've sat on enough hiring panels to know that a piece of paper doesn't get you the job. A project you can explain does.

I judge us by one number. How many of our graduates are working in the roles they trained for. Not enrolments, not followers. Every batch we run, every free tutorial we publish and every company we sign an agreement with is in service of that number, and I read the placement list myself.
