Well-paid 2025 hires in Western Europe

Nordvik Global, a software and logistics group with offices on four continents, is reviewing its compensation in Western Europe. The compensation analyst wants a shortlist of employees who joined during 2025 in Germany, France, Spain or the United Kingdom and earn at least 50,000 USD.

Task: return name, country, salary_usd and hire_date for those employees (leavers included, ignore termination_date). Sort by salary_usd from high to low, then by name from A to Z.

Your query runs on SQLite. Write a single SELECT; use LIMIT instead of TOP.

Need a hint?

Dates are ISO text, so BETWEEN on the text works. Combine the three conditions with AND.
